The Catechism for Filipino Catholics, or CFC, is a contextualized and inculturated Roman Catholic catechism for Filipinos prepared by the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines and approved by the Holy See. The draft was produced by the C.B.C.P.'s "Episcopal Commission on Catechesis and Catholic Education."
It is the present day update of the Doctrina Cristiana, the Philippines' first published book in the early 16th century. The Doctrina Cristiana[1] was written in Tagalog, in both Latin script and the commonly used Baybayin script of natives of the time, as well as Spanish.
